What’s inside Canna Caps?

Canna Caps are The Brothers Apothecary’s first 100% hemp based CBD capsule. These are made with US-grown hemp, sourced from a USDA organic farm in Oregon that utilizes biodynamic and sustainable farming practices. Unlike capsules that use isolate or solvent-blasted hemp flower, the base of these capsules begin with unadulterated hemp material. This is for good reason: processes used in isolating or extraction for CBD may strip the material of other important plant compounds. This includes other cannabinoids, as well as compounds known as “secondary plant metabolites” which are numerous in cannabis plants. In fact, a 2020 study showed cannabis includes over 100 terpenoids, 26 flavonoids, and at least 104 cannabinoids!

At The Brothers, we use our proprietary method to activate cannabinoids while protecting secondary plant metabolites, then greatly increase their bioavailability. This means they deliver the freshest, fullest hemp ingredients in a form your body can more effectively use.

We exclusively source from the finest hemp farms in the United States. Our primary farm partner, used in all our teas and capsules, is a USDA-Organic certified hemp farm located in the beautiful Illinois River Valley here in Oregon. All material is rigorously tested upon pre-harvest, harvest, and in our final products.
