Welcome to The Plug Distribution’s Shipping and Delivery Policy. We are committed to providing efficient, reliable shipping and delivery services to support our wholesale partners. Please review the following information carefully to understand our order processing standards, shipping options, delivery windows, and liability policies.
Order Processing Time
We aim to process all orders in a timely manner to support your operational needs.

Orders are typically processed within 3–5 business days after they are received.

Orders placed after 3:00 PM ET on Friday will begin processing the following Monday.

Processing times may be affected during periods of high volume, product launches, or promotional sales.
To ensure timely delivery, we recommend placing orders well in advance of your required delivery dates.
Shipping Terms & Risk of Loss
All shipments from The Plug Distribution are shipped FOB Shipping Point – Charlotte, NC. This means:

Ownership and risk transfer to the buyer once the order is handed off to the carrier.

The Plug Distribution is not liable for delays, damage, or loss that occurs in transit after the carrier has accepted the shipment.

We are happy to assist in filing carrier or insurance claims when possible.
Shipping Insurance for High-Value Orders
For wholesale orders exceeding $1,000, we strongly encourage the use of shipping insurance to protect your investment during transit.

Our team can add insurance coverage upon request and will include the cost on your invoice.

If you prefer to use your own carrier account or shipping method, please notify us prior to order fulfillment.
Insurance premiums vary by order value, weight, and destination. Please reach out if you would like a quote in advance.
Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Shipments
If a shipment is lost or arrives with damage or signs of tampering, the following policies apply:
Lost in Transit

We will assist in initiating a claim with the shipping carrier or insurance provider.

Final determination of reimbursement will depend on the outcome of that investigation.
Stolen After Delivery

We are not responsible for packages that are marked as delivered but reported stolen.

Please ensure deliveries are made to secure, monitored locations whenever possible.
Damaged or Tampered Packages
All damage or tampering must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Please include:

Photos of the damaged product(s)

Exterior and interior packaging

Any visible signs of tampering
Late or incomplete claims may not be eligible for credit or replacement.
Shipping Methods & Delivery Options
National Shipping
We ship nationwide using trusted carrier partners. Shipping costs and delivery timelines vary by destination and order size.
Local Delivery (Charlotte Region)
We currently offer scheduled local delivery every Tuesday and Thursday within designated service areas.
Note: Our current local delivery range is limited, but we are actively working to expand coverage in the near future.
If you are unsure whether your business qualifies for local delivery, please reach out to your sales representative for clarification. Ensuring your delivery address is accurate will help us avoid unnecessary delays.
Backorders & Stock Availability
Our products are in high demand and inventory can sell out quickly. To minimize disruptions:

Place orders early whenever possible.

Backorders are allowed. You will be notified of any delays, and we will provide an estimated restock date.
Tracking Your Shipment
Once your order has been processed and shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this number to monitor the status of your shipment in real time.
