Terms of Sale
Effective: November 3, 2026
These terms cover every order you place with The Plug Distribution. By applying for an account, signing in, or placing an order, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy and Shipping & Returns page are part of these terms.
Who we are
The Plug Distribution, 3428-B Vane Court, Charlotte, NC 28206. Phone (980) 771-2420. Email [email protected].
Who can buy
- We sell to licensed wholesale buyers only. We do not sell to the public.
- The person who applies and orders must be 21 or older.
- Every account is reviewed by our staff. We can approve, decline, suspend, or close an account at our discretion.
Your account
- Give us true and complete business details, including your EIN, resale certificate, and ship-to address. Tell us when they change.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Prices are shown only to approved accounts. Do not share our prices with anyone outside your business.
Purchases are for resale
When you apply, you confirm that your business is buying for resale and is permitted to buy and resell hemp-derived products in its state. Do not buy for personal use. We may ask for a new or corrected resale certificate at any time.
Prices, cases, and orders
- The price on your order is the price shown at checkout when you place it. Prices can change at any time. We may correct an obvious pricing or listing error, and we will tell you before we go ahead.
- Products with a case size are sold by the case. Single units are offered only from a case that has already been opened, and only while loose units are in stock.
- Placing an order is an offer to buy. It is not accepted until our staff approve it. We may decline or limit any order, for example if an item is out of stock, cannot ship to your state, or does not match your account.
- To change or cancel an order, contact us right away. We cannot promise a change once an order is approved.
- We may stop an order, and hold your future orders, if your information is incomplete or an invoice is unpaid.
Payment
- At checkout you choose a payment method: Card, ACH, Check, or Cash.
- Right now we do not process payments on this site. We take your order and send you an invoice. We arrange payment with you directly, and our staff record it against your invoice.
- Invoices are due on receipt. Checks are payable to "The Plug Distribution".
- Card numbers and bank login details never go through this site or get stored by us. Whatever way you pay, we do not keep your full card number.
- We ship or release an order for pickup after it is approved and your payment is recorded.
- Refunds go back by the same method where we can. See Shipping & Returns.
Sales tax
Orders are sales for resale. We do not add sales tax to an order when a valid resale certificate is on file for your ship-to state. Checkout and your invoice show the certificate status. If tax turns out to be owed on a purchase, you are responsible for it.
Shipping and pickup
Shipping is a flat $15.00 per order, and free on orders of $500.00 or more. Warehouse pickup is also available. Full details are on the Shipping & Returns page.
Following the law
You are responsible for knowing and following the federal, state, and local rules that apply to your business. That includes buying, storing, shipping to, advertising, and selling hemp-derived products where you operate. Void where prohibited by law. You must not resell to anyone under 21. If you are not allowed to buy or sell a product where you are, do not order it.
Product information
Product names, descriptions, and images come from the manufacturers and our own records. We try to keep them correct, but they may contain mistakes. The notice at the bottom of every page applies to everything we sell.
Warranty and liability
- We stand behind the order being filled as placed and products arriving in sellable condition. If something is wrong, tell us as described on the Shipping & Returns page.
- Apart from that, products are sold as is. To the extent the law allows, we make no other warranties, including any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits or indirect damages, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Governing law
North Carolina law governs these terms. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts that cover Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
